FAQ about our Weekly Harvest Pack

  1. Can I sign up for the Weekly Harvest Pack?

To qualify you must live, work, or have another meaningful connection to Franklinton.

2. What if I don’t qualify?

DON’T WORRY, you are always welcome to order online weekly (shop opens on Monday evenings).

3. What is a Weekly Harvest Pack?

The Weekly Harvest Pack program provides a weekly share of fresh fruits and vegetables grown on Franklinton Farms throughout the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter growing seasons. It is modeled as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

4. What is in my pack?

Produce will vary week-to-week, season to season, and is always Farmer’s Choice. The growth of our vegetables, fruits, herbs and greens all depend on weather, pests and nature!

5. Should I get a Large or Small Pack?

The Large Pack contains roughly 7 items and a Small Pack contains roughly 5 items

Note: 1 item = 1 bag of spinach, 1 pint of tomatoes, 1 bunch of basil etc.

6. How much does it cost per season?

Each season is 10 weeks long. You must sign up for a full season to participate. We offer a subsidized price for neighbors and accept payment through SNAP/EBT.

SNAP/EBT PRICE

  • Large Pack is $5.50 per week ($55 total)

  • Small Pack is $4 per week ($40 total)

HALF PRICE

  • Large Pack is $11 per week ($110 total)

  • Small Pack is $8 per week ($80 total)

FULL PRICE

If you live in Franklinton, delivery is free. If not, you can pick up from our office.

7. How do I qualify for the Neighbor Discount (Half Price)?

That is at your discretion! We don’t ask any questions and understand that everyone had different financial situations at different times in their lives. This season you might need the half price and next you might be able to pay full price.
