U-Pick Garden

At the corner of Town St. and Martin St, right next to our main office, we plan, curate, plant and care for our neighborhood U-Pick garden.

This patch of vegetables, flowers, and herbs is open to all from dusk to dawn, 7 days a week.

We only ask that visitors only take what they need so that all can enjoy. Please do not take whole plants.

Guided U-Pick Experiences

Our Guided U-Pick Sessions are a hands-on opportunity to connect with where your food comes from. Each small-group experience includes a walk through the garden with our team, seasonal harvesting education, and the chance to harvest your own produce directly from the field. We will provide all tools you will need.

These sessions are designed to make the U-Pick feel approachable, whether it’s your first time pulling a carrot from the ground or you’ve been gardening for years. We’ll share harvesting tips, how to use and store what’s in growing in the U-Pick, and stories about the plants growing around you.

Sessions run every Sunday from 9–11am throughout the summer season, rain or shine, though we’ll pause for severe weather or storms.

There is no fee to attend these sessions. If you are able to contribute, we invite you to become a Friend of the U-Pick by sponsoring the program and helping us continue offering fresh food, hands-on education, and accessible community programming for all.
